DNS MX RECORD
What is an MX type DNS record for?
An MX (mail exchange) record in the DNS system is used to find out which mail server accepts mails intended for a certain domain. If, for example, your domain name is mydomain.com, you will need to insert an MX record in your DNS zone so that other mail servers know where to send the post to info@mydomain.com or any other e-mail address under this domain.
